Shopping List Friday #20

by MirandaMowbray on March 15, 2013

Is it seriously Friday again?? These weeks are just flying past for me. I think it’s just because we’ve been so beyond-busy with the house still.

I’m almost done painting the bedroom and we’re getting new windows and insulation put in next weekend! And we still have a mountain of unpacking to do. Tomorrow will mark one whole month that we’ve been living in the new house. It’s still so crazy to me! Like, what? I bought a house?!

I also have another big announcement… we’re getting a kitten!! We’ve been looking online for one for a while now, and we just happened to find this amazing cat that we went to see on Sunday — and we both fell totally in love with him. He’s a purebred Russian Blue and incredibly GORGEOUS. I’ve never seen anything like him! I don’t have any pictures that I’ve taken of him yet (we don’t officially get to take him home with us until Saturday), but here’s the picture from the adoption website:

We’re still trying to decide what we’re going to name him. Since he’s a Russian Blue, we kind of want to give him a Russian name. Our top three names right now are: Yuri, Dmitri, and Ivan. Which name do you like the best??
